Welcome to my blog, here I will tell my daily life during the practice in the kitchen, well the first is that I will tell you my first practice in this second semester. Today I went to campus at 7 o'clock different from the previous semester because we have to prepare the ingredients for breakfast menu and have to come sooner because breakfast time so fast.
After I arrived campus and do one line that is guided by our supervisors and inspect our tools and grooming, for the complete tools is allowed to enter and form a line back in the kitchen.
Nahh .. Here I started hanging out with my group mates who happened to be my group 1, since we just got a new senior coming from the training we did an introduction with them and today we are in charge by kak tenri ajeng, kak dila, and kak ayyub after that we are taken over by chef Dhino, he explained us about the continental menu and divide the section we have to make, and today me and my group get the task to make soft roll. Well let me explain a little about how I make it:
First of all we prepare the ingredients:
- High protein flour - yeast
- sugar - Butter or margarine
- water - salt
- shortening - milk powder
How to make :
- mix all the dried ingredients of high protein flour, sugar, yeast, and milk powder until blended.
- Pour the water little by little and stir until the dough is smooth.
- Enter the butter and margarine and stir again until the dough is well blended, and add salt.
- after which proofing for one and a half hours and the dough is doubled.
- dough that has been doubled and then punching and out the gas and the form of dough to form round and insert into the proofing machine for 10 minutes
- rub it with egg wash and bake.
